Journey into Diversity
Inviting foreign students from the Kivunim project to Salem School was a memorable experience. The initiative aimed to create an opportunity for our students to engage with individuals from different cultures, practice English with native speakers, and develop a broader global perspective. As the day unfolded, we organized an ice-breaker activity to foster connections between us, the student teachers, and the visiting students. This helped create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for everyone involved. The interactions that followed were truly remarkable. Our students eagerly conversed with the foreign students, sharing stories and asking questions, while also practicing their English skills. Witnessing the genuine enthusiasm and curiosity from our students was incredibly rewarding. The presence of the foreign students not only enhanced our students' language abilities but also expanded their understanding of diverse cultures and perspectives. The day concluded with resounding requests from our students to invite the foreign students again in the future, a testament to the positive impact of the initiative.
